Gabriella Pinot Grigio

Our Gabriella Pinot Grigio comes from the northern region of Italy Friuli Venezia Giulia. Otherwise known as, Friuli.

Gabriella Pinot Grigio is made In the very heart of the Friuli Grave DOC area, between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone. A place suited for cultivating vines. Protected by the mountains, the area’s characteristic gravel rich soil with lots of large stones help heat up the soil during the day and cool it down at night which effectively ripen grapes during the day while maintaining characteristically high acidity.

This outstanding and crisp wine gives off a beautiful scent of citrus fruit, pineapple, apricots, crisp apples and white peach.

Gabriella has a flavorsome palate of green apple, melon, white peach, citrus notes and a well balanced yet slightly high acidity.

this wine pairs well with light chicken and fish dishes as well as various cheeses such as brie, cheddar and mozzarella.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is the farthest north eastern region of Italy.

It borders Austria, Slovenia and the Adriatic Sea. It’s home to the sharp peaked Dolomite Mountains and vineyards producing white wines. Friuli was one of Italy’s first Pinot Grigio producing regions. The unique Terroir containing warm sea breezes, chilly high altitude nights and diverse, mineral rich soil-creates the perfect terroir for producing crisp and fruity Pinot Grigio.
